Aunique modelfor the construction, concession and operation of small children photovoltaic systems. Theunique model for photovoltaicsserves to streamline bureaucratic procedures related to the installation of small photovoltaic systems. Let's see immediately how the single model for photovoltaics works.

Theunique model for photovoltaicsarises from Article 7-bis, paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 28/2011 but is effective only from November 28, 2015, ie after 180 days from the entry into force of the decree.

What is the single model for photovoltaics for?

Theunique modelfor photovoltaicsit will simplify the bureaucratic obligations for users who intend to install a photovoltaic roof up to 20 kW.

How does the Single Model for photovoltaics work?

It can be used as a fulfillment module for the construction, connection and commissioning of a photovoltaic system that meets the following characteristics:

  • made at end customers already equipped with active low voltage withdrawal points;
  • having a power not exceeding that already available for withdrawal;
  • having a nominal power not exceeding 20 Kw;
  • for a photovoltaic roof for which access to the on-site exchange regime is simultaneously requested;
  • for photovoltaic systems built on the roofs of buildings in the manner provided for in Article 7-bis paragraph 5 of Legislative Decree 28/2011;
  • absence of further production plants on the same withdrawal point.

Theunique model for photovoltaicsit will have to be completed in two trances. The first part must be completed before the start of the work and the second at the end of the commissioning of theplant.

Compilation and submission of theunique modelmust take place online, through a specific web interface. Theunique model for photovoltaicswill be managed byNetwork Managerwho will have the task of providing all data to GSE, Terna and the Municipality. Before the introduction of theunique modelit was the user who had to carry out the necessary communications while now the only communication required is via the web with the compilation of the two parts of the single model and the forwarding of pre-installation and end of work data.

TheNetwork manager, within 20 working days of receiving the first part of theunique model(the one to be carried out before starting the work), verifies the compatibility of the application and, if successful, automatically starts the granting process. In the event of a positive outcome, the Grid Operator will send a confirmation and charge the applicant the charges for the connection (for the installation of the metering unit). With regard to costs, if the Network Operator finds the need to carry out complex work to connect thephotovoltaic system, or in any case not limited to the installation of the measuring group, sends the requestor the estimate for the connection.

As stated, the first part must be completed and submitted before install the photovoltaic roof while the second part of theunique model for photovoltaicsit must be sent at the end of the work. Here, the user must communicate to the Network Operator (again via the web) the acceptance of the operating regulations and the exchange contract on site. Again, it will be theNetwork managerto send a copy to the Municipality and the GSE.
